Amy Messina has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Amy began their career as an Office Assistant at Burton Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Grill Room/Banquet Server at Lake Shore Country Club Erie.

In 2018, Amy was a Social Media Manager for Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority. Amy later served as a Communications Intern at Rush University Medical Center in 2019. During the same year, they were also the Historian for Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority and a Peer Mentor to International Students at John Carroll University.

In 2021, Amy worked as a Media Planner at Billups. In 2022, they participated in the Phoenix Suns Sports Marketing Workshop as part of the Marcus Graham Project.

Most recently, Amy joined the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2022. Amy started as a Premium Hospitality Support Specialist before transitioning to their current role as a Client Engagement & Experience Specialist.

Amy Messina began their education in 2013 at Villa Maria Academy, where they completed their high school education. In 2016, they enrolled in a dual-enrollment program at Gannon University. From 2017 to 2021, they attended John Carroll University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business with a focus on Language & Culture, Italian Studies, and Spanish & Hispanic Studies. As part of their academic journey, they participated in semester study abroad programs at Pontificia Università Urbaniana in Rome in 2018 and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan in 2020.
