Brandon Weems

Brandon Weems is an experienced professional in basketball management, currently serving as Assistant General Manager, Sr Director of Player Personnel, and Director of Scouting for the Cleveland Cavaliers since September 2015. Prior to this, Brandon held the position of Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Oakland University and also served as an Assistant Coach at Drexel University. Brandon's background includes directing basketball camps at the John Calipari Basketball School and overseeing daily operations at the University of Kentucky, contributing to a National Title-winning team. Brandon's early career involved internships at Nike and Quicken Loans, providing valuable insights into sports marketing and operations. Academically, Brandon earned a Master's degree in Kinesiology: Sports Leadership from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Walsh University.
