Video Engineer at Cleveland Cavaliers

Dan Gerbracht has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and engineering. Dan started their career at the City of Hudson, Ohio in 2009 as a Video Production Assistant and gradually rose to the position of Video Operations Manager, where they served from October 2016 to September 2022. In August 2022, they took on the role of Station Manager at HCTV. In 2015, they joined the Cleveland Guardians as a Video Engineer, and in 2017, they became a Video Engineer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In these roles, they operated shade cameras for the scoreboard, covered Cavaliers basketball and Monsters hockey games, and managed video production for special events. Currently, they are also employed as a Video Engineer at Case Western Reserve University starting from January 2022.

Dan Gerbracht earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television, and Digital Communication from Kent State University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including a Public Sector Leadership certificate from the Drucker School of Management and ELGL in June 2022. In May 2020, Dan received a Dante Level 1 & 2 Certification from Audinate. Dan also obtained a certification in Excel at Managing and Supervising People from SkillPath in December 2019 and a Part 107 certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, also in December 2019.
