Katie Gibbons

Katie Gibbons has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Katie began their career in 2007 as a Cleveland Cavalier Girl, performing at NBA home games and representing the Cavaliers as a brand ambassador in the Cleveland community. Katie continued this role until 2010.

In 2011, Katie joined the Orlando Magic NBA Team as an Orlando Magic Dancer, performing at home games and other events while also serving as a brand ambassador in the Orlando community. Katie held this position until 2012.

Katie then returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2012 as the Cleveland Monsters Dance Team Director. In this role, they managed and choreographed the Monster Hockey Girls (AHL) while also assisting with the management and choreography of other dance teams within the organization. Katie held this position until 2014.

In 2014, Katie joined the Spurs Sports & Entertainment as a Sr. Entertainment Teams Coordinator, where they were responsible for coordinating entertainment teams. Katie held this role until 2018.

Most recently, in 2018, Katie returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers as the Sr. Manager of Dance and Entertainment. Katie was later promoted to the Director of Dance and Entertainment in 2022 and subsequently to their current role as the Sr. Director of Game Presentation and Live Events in 2023.

Katie Gibbons is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Advertising from Grand Canyon University, which they are expected to complete in 2023. Prior to this, they attended Bowling Green State University, where they studied Dance and Psychology.
