Zainab Pixler

Zainab Pixler currently serves as the Local Food Systems Strategies Coordinator at the Cleveland Department of Public Health, having held the position since July 2023. Prior to this role, Zainab was a Senior Analyst at the Center for Good Food Purchasing from May 2020 to July 2023 and served on the board of the Northeast Ohio Voter Advocates (NOVA) from February 2022 to February 2023. Zainab’s experience also includes an Account Coordinator position at Greater Cleveland Food Bank, where responsibilities involved managing a Retail Donation Program. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Syracuse University, where Zainab completed studies from 2014 to 2018. Additional experience consists of internships at US Foods and Domino's, as well as a role as Real Food Research Intern at Syracuse University Sustainability Management.
