Julie Henry

Julie Henry has over 18 years of experience as an Intervention Specialist at Cleveland Heights-University Heights School District, where responsibilities include developing engaging lessons for students with various disabilities using Common Core and Ohio Social-Emotional Learning Standards. Prior to this role, Julie served as a Reporter/Writer/Managing Producer/Host at WVIZ/PBS and WCPN ideastream, earning five regional Emmy awards and leading teams in producing high-quality educational programming. Julie holds an M.Ed. in Intervention Special (Mild-Moderate) with a Reading Endorsement from Notre Dame College, an M.S. in Journalism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University.

For more than 100 years, the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District has been one of the most storied and successful school districts in Northeast Ohio.
