Kelly Dobeck

Kelly Dobeck is an experienced meteorologist and news anchor currently serving as the Morning Anchor and Meteorologist at WOIO since November 2018, with responsibilities that include full-time news desk duties and meteorological reporting for the 9 AM newscast. Dobeck is also the In-Arena Host for the Cleveland Monsters, providing live reporting during home games. Previous roles include meteorologist positions at Nexstar Media Group, Inc. and WRDW-TV, along with research contributions at UNC Asheville and Duke University, focusing on precipitation events and rain gauge calibration. Dobeck’s early career featured internships at WLOS News Channel 13 and WKYC-TV, supporting weather forecasting and social media efforts. Dobeck holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
