Julia Alexander is an accomplished professional in the field of vertebrate zoology with extensive experience in museum collections and education. Currently serving as the Collections Manager of Vertebrate Zoology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History since January 2023, Julia previously held the position of Curatorial Assistant in Vertebrate Zoology at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center from June 2017 to December 2022, where responsibilities included preparing specimens and cataloging items. Julia also worked as a Summer Camp Counselor, creating engaging activities in various scientific disciplines for children. Additional experiences include a field school with the Slavia Foundation focusing on excavation and curation and an internship with the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office involving autopsies and data management. Julia holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Montana and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Colorado Denver, along with studies at Swansea University.
