Monroe Goins

Monroe Goins is an experienced professional in the field of safety and law enforcement, currently serving as the Director of Safety at Cleveland Public Library since February 2022. Prior to this role, Monroe held various positions at the City of Cleveland, including Manager and Chief Legal Investigator from December 2017 to July 2022, as well as a former Police Officer from August 1996 to September 2017, responsible for overseeing complex investigations in the Bureau of Integrity Control. Monroe holds a Master of Arts in Criminology & Criminal Justice from Kent State University, completed in 2016, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Liberty University, earned in 2010.
