Ritika Devarakonda is currently a Summer Recreation Assistant at Cleveland Sight Center, where involvement focuses on facilitating recreational activities for adults with visual impairments and intellectual disabilities. Concurrently, Ritika serves as a Peer Tutor for introductory courses in Biology, Chemistry, and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, as an Undergraduate Researcher in the Lewin Lab, Ritika investigates the ecological role of Rothia in the oral cavity. In the role of ThinkImpact Social Entrepreneurship Program Fellow at the Fowler Center, Ritika has secured funding to pursue an entrepreneurial venture. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant in the Gurkan Lab, contributing to the development of a machine-learning model for sickle cell anemia staging, as well as in culinary and educational roles with Panera Bread and The First Tee. Ritika is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Computer Science at Case Western Reserve University, having previously attended Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences.
