Patricia M. Depompei

Trustee at Cleveland State University

Patricia M. Depompei was appointed on September 6, 2019, by Governor Mike DeWine to the Cleveland State University Board of Trustees for a term ending May 1, 2027.

Ms. DePompei is the President of University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals (RBCH) and MacDonald Women’s Hospital (MWH). Ms. DePompei assumed the role of President of RBCH and MWH in October 2012. Prior to that, she served the institutions as vice president of nursing and patient care operations, with overall responsibility for strategic management of all clinical operations and patient care services.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Toledo and an MSN from Kent State University. Ms. DePompei has served in a number of local organizations including as leader of the University Hospitals of Cleveland United Way campaign, as a Greater Cleveland Health Care cabinet member for the United Way and as a board member of Ronald McDonald House of

Cleveland.
