Shymala Sidharth has a diverse work experience in various industries. Shymala started their career in 2018 as an Air Quality Technician intern at Air Matters Ltd. Shymala then worked as an Environmental Data Technician on a contract basis at Watercare Services Limited, where they were responsible for writing technical reports, managing air and water quality data, and researching methodologies for upcoming projects.

In 2019, Shymala joined Auckland Council as a Compliance Monitoring Officer, where they ensured compliance with environmental regulations. Shymala later transitioned to the role of Compliance Monitoring Specialist and then became an Environmental Specialist focusing on water quality at Auckland Council.

From 2021 to 2022, Shymala worked as a Data Analyst at Watercare Services Limited, where they utilized their analytical skills to analyze data and provide insights.

In 2022, they joined Dev Academy Aotearoa as a Software Engineer, gaining valuable experience in software development.
