Phil Hu

Phil Hu is the owner and co-founder of Cleverlayover, an innovative online travel website established in January 2015 that specializes in identifying low-cost flight options through unique pricing strategies. Noteworthy media outlets such as USA Today, Time, and Fortune have featured Cleverlayover due to its distinctive approach. Prior to Cleverlayover, Phil Hu held significant roles at McKinsey & Company, serving as an Engagement Manager and Senior Associate, where responsibilities included digital marketing and product development. Phil Hu also briefly worked as Principal at Mechanism Ventures. Academic credentials include an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from Yale University.
