Francis Pereira

Francis Pereira has a diverse work experience in various roles related to infrastructure engineering, IT operations, and web administration.

Francis started their career in 2007 as a Web Programmer at Infomedia India Ltd, where they worked on the relaunches of overdrive.co.in and chip.in.

Francis then moved on to Infomedia 18 Ltd as a Web Administrator, where they set up and managed an automated backup system, proxy caching server, and a cluster of load-balanced web servers.

In 2010, they became a Manager - Systems/IT at Infomedia18 Ltd, where they designed and implemented the web cluster architecture for askme.com and yellowpages.co.in.

After that, they joined Network 18 (Web18 Software Services Limited) as a Manager - IT Operations, where they designed and managed staging, dev, and production environments for in.com, firstpost.com, and askme.com.

In 2013, they became a Consultant & Support Rep at 7terminals, where they set up a consulting company focused on infrastructure management, support, managed hosting, and GNU+Linux engineering. Francis worked with clients such as freecharge.in, thrillofdriving.in, and yellowpages.

Currently, Francis is VP, Infrastructure Engineering at CleverTap. Unfortunately, the specific dates for this role are not provided.

Francis Pereira attended St Marys High School in Mount Ab, Rajashtan from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained their ICSE degree. Later, from 2006 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (B.Sc. - IT) at St Andrews College in Bandra. In December 2019, Francis obtained an additional certification as an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional (DOP) from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
