Associate Design Director at Click Therapeutics

Gosia Machniewska has a diverse work experience in the field of design, with a focus on product and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) design. Gosia is currently employed as the Associate Design Director at Click Therapeutics, Inc. where they are collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop a digital treatment for patients with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Prior to their current role, they worked as the Lead Product Designer at Click Therapeutics, Inc., where they played a key role in developing software that doctors prescribe as a form of treatment for patients with unmet medical needs.

Before their time at Click Therapeutics, Inc., Gosia worked as a Product Designer at Interstellar, where they contributed to designing various products. Gosia also had their own design agency called GOSIA.com, where they worked as the Principal Designer from 2015 to 2018.

Gosia Machniewska has a strong educational background with a focus on art history, photography, and problem space research. Gosia obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Art History and History of Photography from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Art History & Philosophy from Hunter College, studying from 1996 to 2000. Gosia also attended the School of Visual Arts from 1999 to 2001, where they studied photography.

In addition to their formal education, Gosia has acquired several certifications. Gosia completed the Indi Young Adv Training for Problem Space Research, earning a Certificate of Problem Space Research in December 2019. In the same month, they also became a Tiny Habits Certified Coach through the Tiny Habits® Academy. Gosia obtained the Design Sprint Foundations certification from Udacity in February 2018 and achieved the Front-End Web Developer certification from the same institution in September 2015. Furthermore, they earned the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation from the Scrum Alliance in April 2019.
