Shiqiang Duan

Shiqiang Duan is an experienced SRE/DevOps Engineer currently working at ByteDance since June 2020, where responsibilities include automation and cloud infrastructure. As a DevOps Team Lead for the ByteHouse project, Shiqiang leads a team of seven engineers. Previously, at Perx Technologies from August 2018 to June 2020, Shiqiang led the DevOps and data team, building data pipelines for the company's SAAS product utilizing technologies like Kafka and Google BigQuery. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at ViSenze, where contributions were made to a machine learning model evaluation pipeline, and at NextLabs, where Shiqiang designed REST API authorization mechanisms and implemented containerization strategies. Shiqiang holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, earned in 2015.
