Paul Gardien

Paul Gardien is an accomplished design strategist and educator with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a TU/e Fellow at Eindhoven University of Technology since December 2018, Paul Gardien teaches design entrepreneurship and enhances the integration of design practice within the university's educational and research frameworks. As a board member of CLICKNL and the founding member of the Supervisory Board of EIT Culture & Creativity, Paul Gardien supports innovation within the creative industries and fosters startup ecosystems across Europe. With a substantial tenure at Philips from 1988 to June 2023, Paul Gardien held various leadership roles, ultimately contributing to global design strategy, design innovation, and business development. Paul Gardien's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Design Innovation from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by a foundational education at Delft University of Technology.
