Genesis Perez Mena

Genesis Perez Mena has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. In 2013, they worked as an Analyst at Gesfor until 2014. Then, from 2014 to 2015, they served as a Professional I at the Ministry of Commerce. Afterwards, they were employed as a Supervisor of Projects at the Superintendencia Nacional de Gestion Agroalimentaria -SUNAGRO from 2015 to 2017.

In 2017, Genesis joined EMLAZE SYSTEMS SAS as a Quality Assurer. Genesis'sresponsibilities included ensuring proper compliance with company processes, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions. Genesis also played a role in obtaining ITMARK certification for the company. Additionally, they were involved in requirement gathering, project management, functional testing, and documentation.

Genesis worked as a Junior Testing Consultant at ENESIMA S.A.S from November 2018 to February 2019. Genesis then joined Indra Colombia Ltda as a Systems Engineer, working on the CLARO COLOMBIA project from February 2019 to August 2020.

Most recently, Genesis is employed at LOGYSTO. Genesis started as a Quality Leader in September 2020 and transitioned to the role of Scrum Master Lead in October 2021.

Genesis Perez Mena began their education at Liceo Nacional Juan Germán Roscio from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their Bachillerato with a focus on Ciencias Básicas. Genesis then went on to attend Universidad Nacional Experimental de los Llanos Centrales 'Rómulo Gallegos' from 2009 to 2013, earning a degree in Ingeniero en Informatica. After a gap in their educational pursuits, Genesis enrolled in Fundación Universitaria Empresarial de la Camara de Comercio de Bogotá in 2018 for a short period, where they completed a diploma in Cloud Computing e Internet de las Cosas, with a field of study in Tecnología de la información. In 2020, Genesis obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification from the International Software Quality Institute, specializing in Ingeniería de software.
