Lindy van Vliet

Lindy van Vliet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and social impact initiatives. Currently serving as Directeur Bestuurder at Cliëntenbelang Amsterdam since October 2024, Lindy focuses on advocacy and support for individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Prior to this, Lindy worked as a Gespreksbegeleider en Adviseur at Verandering in Gesprek, facilitating meaningful dialogues to foster inclusive societies. Lindy's previous roles include Director Knowledge at KIT Royal Tropical Institute, where leadership centered on promoting health and economic development, and Chairperson of the Board at Inclusive Impact Investments, supporting local enterprises in Africa and Asia. A long tenure at Oxfam Novib involved various managerial positions, driving innovation and impact investment initiatives across multiple countries. Lindy holds a Master's degree in Political Science, with a specialization in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, complemented by foundational education at Elshof college Nijmegen.
