Michael D. has a diverse work experience spanning across several companies and roles. Michael began their career in 1990 as an Assistant QC Manager at Northwest Packing and later became a Manager of Quality Assurance at Oregon Cherry Growers in 1992. In 2001, Michael joined Tazo Tea as a Manager of R&D and Starbucks as a Director of R&D in the same year. At Starbucks, they held various positions and was eventually promoted to the role of Director of R&D for Global Channel Development & Emerging Brands, which they held until 2015. Currently, they are working at Clif Bar & Company as the Senior Director of Innovation Product Development. Overall, Michael has demonstrated expertise in quality management, research and development, and leadership in the food and beverage industry.
Michael D. attended Oregon State University from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Food Science and Technology.
