Kristi Petty is an experienced art educator and dance professor with a diverse background in teaching and event management. Currently serving as an Art Teacher at Cliff Valley School since August 2019, Kristi develops curriculum and instructs K-8 students in various artistic techniques while promoting cultural diversity in the arts. In addition, Kristi has been an Adjunct Professor of Dance at Brenau University since August 2017, responsible for multiple dance courses and maintaining the Canvas class website. Previous roles include Director of Events at Heritage Sandy Springs, Faculty Teaching Specialist at Emory University, and Adjunct Faculty positions at several institutions, including Arizona State University and the University of Montana. Kristi holds a Master of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education and Biology from Brigham Young University, along with certification as a Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst.
