Marissa Bryant

Marissa Bryant, LMSW, is a trauma-informed therapist currently employed at Clifford Beers Clinic since November 2021. Prior experience includes serving as an associate therapist at Embrace Your Difference from June to September 2021, a school-based mental health therapist at Catholic Charities from October 2020 to July 2021, and a child and adolescent psychiatric rehabilitation counselor at Advantage Psychiatric Services LLC from October 2019 to March 2020. Additionally, Marissa completed a counseling internship at PHILLIPS Programs for Children and Families from September 2018 to November 2019 and a behavioral support clinician internship at Ability Beyond from September 2017 to May 2018. Early experience includes working as an enrichment associate at Danbury Public Schools from February 2016 to December 2017 and as a BSW intern at YMCA Escape to the Arts from January 2017 to May 2017. Marissa holds a Master of Social Work from Howard University (2018-2019) and a Bachelor of Social Work from Western Connecticut State University (2014-2018).
