Jordan Mao

Senior Associate at Climate Action Reserve

Jordan Mao is an Analytical Associate at Climate Action Reserve. Prior to that, they were a Horticulture and Botany Specialist at the Bureau of Land Management from June 2020 to December 2020. There, they restored a coastal, historic English woodland garden containing dozens of rare species. Jordan also created visitor's map using ArcGIS. In addition, they conducted bumble bee, marbled murrelet, and salmon population surveys.

Before that, they were a Cultivation Technician at Acreage Holdings from July 2019 to August 2019. There, they contributed to all aspects of plant production in warm and humid indoor environment. Jordan also conducted walkthroughs of grow rooms, detecting suboptimal grow conditions such as incorrect climate settings, blown light bulbs, contaminated surfaces, plants without watering devices, excessive vegetation cover, and collapsed plants.

Jordan Mao obtained their Research And Teaching Assistant position at the Paleomagnetic Research Group at the University of Rochester from March 2019 to June 2020.

Jordan Mao studied Environmental Science at the University of Rochester and Universidad LCI Veritas. At Summit High School, they were Class Vice President and Treasurer. Jordan has certification from the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute in Certificate of Proficiency and American Red Cross in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
