Meghan McAvoy

Meghan McAvoy has extensive experience in sustainability and green building practices, serving as Director of Sustainable Programs at GHT Limited from September 2018 to August 2022, where Meghan led sustainable business initiatives and provided consulting services in carbon accounting and green building. Prior roles include various positions at Eastern Research Group and Green Business Certification, Inc., including Sustainability Specialist and LEED Certification Associate. Meghan's career began as an Energy Efficiency Project Coordinator at ICF International. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University and current studies in Mechanical Engineering at The George Washington University - School of Engineering & Applied Science, set to graduate in May 2027.
