Robin Rix

Robin Rix serves as the President of Climate Action Reserve since March 2025 and previously held multiple senior roles at Verra, including Chief Legal, Risk, and Governance Officer. Rix's experience includes serving as a Board Member (Adjudicator) for the Government of Canada and as Director of Research and Strategic Analysis at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario. From 2009 to 2015, Rix was a Programme Officer at UN Climate Change, focusing on Strategy and Sustainable Development Mechanisms. Earlier professional experience includes practicing law at Clifford Chance LLP and training at Baker McKenzie, along with serving as a Policy Analyst at Canada25. Rix holds a Master of Philosophy in Politics and International Relations from the University of Oxford and a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Toronto.
