Melania Guerra

Melania Guerra, Ph.D., is an ocean-climate science diplomat whose work resides at the intersection of science and public policy. They served as an Adjunct Professor in Climate Change Governance at the University for Peace from 2019 to 2022 and are currently a Consultant in Climate & Ocean Science Diplomacy. Melania leads the Climate Science and Impacts Team at Climate Analytics, focusing on interdisciplinary science to support climate action aligned with the Paris Agreement. Their previous experience includes roles at NASA, the University of Washington, and Cornell University, contributing significantly to marine research and policy initiatives. Melania holds a degree from Princeton University.
