Johannes van de Ven currently serves on the Development Board at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and holds a position on the Board of the World Resources Institute, alongside serving as Board President for WRI Brasil. Johannes is also involved with the Instituto Arapyaú, Climate and Land Use Alliance, SELCO India, Good Energies Foundation, and Porticus, where roles include advisory and directorial positions focusing on sustainable development and philanthropy. Additionally, Johannes is part of the Advisory Board for the Faith-Aligned Impact Finance Initiative at the University of Oxford and previously served as Vice-Chairman of the Investor Collaborative for the Global Commons Alliance. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from KU Leuven and leadership training from IMD.
