Marieke Hounjet is an accomplished professional in philanthropy and economic development, currently serving as Director of 360 Philanthropy at Porticus since November 2017, with additional responsibilities as interim Director of Effective Philanthropy and previously as a Senior Analyst. Hounjet is also an Investment Committee Member at Climate Arc since September 2023. From November 2014 to September 2017, Hounjet worked at the United Nations as an Associate in Economic Affairs, focusing on establishing a Global Monitoring Mechanism for international assistance to Africa. Past roles include Company Director at the Partnership Brokers Association, Head of Development and Partnerships at the Start Network, and Coordinator for the Consortium of British Humanitarian Agencies. Hounjet has a strong educational background with degrees from The London School of Economics, Leipzig University, and University College Utrecht.
