Rachel Hawker

Rachel Hawker is a dedicated climate scientist with extensive experience in research and product innovation related to climate impact and environmental science. Currently serving as Research Lead at Climate Arc since May 2023, Rachel previously held the position of Climate Scientist and Product Innovation at Kukua, where development of climate-related services for investment and asset managers was a key focus. Rachel's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Leeds, specializing in atmospheric modeling of ice processes in deep convective clouds, along with a Bachelor's in Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia. Additional roles have included notetaking for students with disabilities and outdoor instruction, demonstrating a diverse skill set and commitment to both education and environmental advocacy.
