Josh Gould

Josh Gould is an experienced leader in energy innovation and strategic planning currently serving as the Director of Strategic Planning and Innovation at Duquesne Light Company, a position held since April 2023 after an interim role. Gould leads the company's Innovation Center and new product/service development while acting as the principal liaison for the Allegheny Conference Low Carbon Electricity Workgroup. Additionally, Josh serves as a Limited Partner at Climate Capital and is a member of The Conference Board's Innovation Leadership Executive Council. Previous roles include Director of an Innovation Hub at Con Edison, where efforts were focused on distributed energy resources, and a position at ARPA-E, advancing energy technologies from research to market. Gould’s career started with founding Gould Energy Storage, Inc., followed by several positions at consulting and advisory firms. Educational credentials include an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College, complemented by a certificate in Distribution System Engineering from Siemens Power Academy.
