Corey Jones

Corey Jones has extensive experience in commercial banking and lending, with their most recent position being Vice President of Commercial Banking at Climate First Bank, starting in 2023. Before that, they held a similar role at Cypress Bank & Trust from 2022-2023. From 2019-2022, they worked as VP of Commercial Lending at The Heritage Bank. Prior to that, Corey worked at BB&T for over a decade, starting in 2008 as VP and Market Leader in Community Banking until 2019.

Corey Jones holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance Major from the University of North Florida, which they received in 2017. In 2019, they enrolled at the same university to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in finance. Corey completed their MBA degree at the University of North Florida in 2021. Corey continued their education and enrolled in the Florida School of Banking in 2021. Corey also obtained two certifications: Executive Presence from Coggin Graduate and Executive Programs in February 2022 and Commercial Lending School from Florida Bankers Association in March 2020.
