Charles Ehrhart

Charles Ehrhart currently serves as the Global Solutions Lead for Climate Change, Decarbonisation & Nature at KPMG, where responsibilities include co-leading global climate initiatives and providing expert guidance on climate governance. Additional roles include Governing Board Member for the Climate Governance Initiative and Steering Committee Member for Chapter Zero New Zealand. Previously, Charles pursued various leadership positions, including Lead Partner for Climate Change and Sustainability at KPMG New Zealand, and Director of Climate Change & Sustainability at the Insurance Council of New Zealand. With a strong background in strategy and innovation, including a consulting role with the World Bank Group, Charles has played significant roles in initiatives aimed at climate adaptation and sustainable development. Academically, Charles holds a PhD and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, alongside degrees and certificates focused on sustainability and climate change from other prestigious institutions.
