Fersheed Mody is an advisor at Climate Impact Capital. Fersheed previously worked at Shell Oil Company from January 2002 to March 2010. Fersheed was a team lead for global geomechanics and the principal technical expert. Their responsibilities included providing focused implementation and uptake of drilling, completion, reservoir geomechanics, and borehole stability related technologies by the operating companies to achieve an 80% reduction in NPT related failures. Fersheed also educated the Shell group of companies on the benefits of implementing integrated reservoir geomechanics and BHS technology in the integrated reservoir-modeling phase, drilling/completion phase, and in post-well evaluation as a means to document lessons learned. In addition, they performed a complete assessment of integrated reservoir geomechanics and BHS opportunities in each OU and prioritize to optimize resource deployment.

Fersheed Mody received their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Fersheed then went on to earn their Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, also from the University of Oklahoma.
