Jose Bravo

Advisor at Climate Impact Capital

Jose Bravo is the current advisor at Climate Impact Capital and was the president at Fractionation Research Inc. from May 2017 to December 2020. Jose was responsible for leading a research consortium in the area of separations technology. Prior to that, they worked as the chief scientist at Shell Oil Company from January 2005 to February 2016. In that role, they were jointly responsible for advising senior Shell leadership on matters of technology strategy, future trends, and grand challenges in science and technology. Jose also crafted and advised research and development programs for technology development.

Jose Bravo earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. Jose then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Finally, they completed an Executive Leadership for Business Program at The Wharton School.
