Shannon Miller

Shannon Miller is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in sustainability and policy research. Currently serving as a Program Associate at Climate Imperative Foundation, Shannon previously held the position of Sustainability Team Lead for the Policy Research Project at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on sustainable funding strategies for Austin's alternate response program. As a Writing Consultant at the University Writing Center, Shannon provided feedback on a variety of materials, enhancing clarity and style. Shannon also co-led a team at Innovations for Peace and Development, conducting research on social justice issues and executing data analysis. An internship with the Government of Jamaica involved developing conservation policies, while earlier research assistant roles focused on climate change impacts on human settlements. Shannon completed a Master's degree in Global Policy Studies with a concentration in Climate, Energy, and Environmental Policy at The LBJ School of Public Affairs and holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological and Earth Sciences from The University of the West Indies, Mona.
