Climate Investment (CI)
Ekaterina Plotnitskaya is an experienced investment associate currently working at Climate Investment since June 2022. In addition to this role, Ekaterina serves as a board observer at Carbon Upcycling Technologies and Clarke Valve, both starting in early 2024, and is a member of Global Women in VC since May 2021. Previous positions include hosting at Pique Action, environmental startup funding coordinator at the Yale Center for Business and the Environment, and a VC analyst role at TotalEnergies Ventures. Earlier experience includes positions at Greenhill & Co. as an investment banking summer analyst and at Goldman Sachs as a risk analyst, as well as a business development summer analyst role at Aberdeen Standard Investments. Ekaterina holds a Master of Management Studies from Yale School of Management, a Master in Management from HEC Paris, and two Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Virginia, specializing in finance, management, and entrepreneurship, with a minor in dance.
