Pao-Hsuan Chu is a versatile professional with extensive experience in promoting sustainable practices across various industries. Currently, Pao-Hsuan serves as a Commissioner at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) since September 2016, focusing on advancing the petrochemical industry's eco-design and circular economy initiatives. In addition, Pao-Hsuan has contributed to the Pioneer into Practice Project at Climate-KIC since April 2015, fostering climate expertise and best practices in Europe. As a volunteer Project Coordinator for the World Fair Trade Organization-Asia since September 2014, Pao-Hsuan engages in training and evaluation standards related to water management in dye units. Previous roles include manufacturing engineering administration at VeriFone Systems, project engineering at the Foundation of Taiwan Industry Service, research assistance at Academia Sinica, and environmental engineering at Arounding-You Environmental Engineering Co. Pao-Hsuan holds multiple master's degrees in Industrial Ecology from esteemed institutions, complemented by a Master of Science in Geochemistry and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from National Taiwan University.
