Bethany Hannah

Bethany Hannah is an experienced professional specializing in wildfire management and environmental studies. Currently serving as the Executive Director of The American Wildfire Experience, Bethany is also the Founder of The Smokey Generation. Previous roles include Deputy Director of Operations & External Affairs and Interim Executive Director at the Climate and Wildfire Institute, and Researcher/Interim Project Manager for the PyroLife initiative at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. Additionally, Bethany held the position of Program Manager for Urban Wood Rescue at the Sacramento Tree Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Information and Knowledge Society from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a Master of Arts in Environmental Studies with a focus on Wildland Fire Management and Communication from Prescott College.
