Jackie Bennett Obe

Jackie Bennett OBE currently serves as an Advisor at Climate X and holds the position of Chair for the Bank of England Residential Property Forum since April 2022. With extensive experience in the finance and mortgage sectors, Jackie has been a Senior Advisor for Personal Finance at UK Finance since February 2018, where leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic was instrumental in implementing mortgage payment deferrals. Additional roles include Etsy Shop owner at Layers of Light Photos, Trustee at The FairLife Charity, Board member and Chair of RemCo for the New Homes Quality Board, and Non-Executive Director at OnLadder. Past positions include Deputy Head of Compliance at The Northview Group, Compliance Conduct Manager at GE Money Home Lending, and Head of Policy at the Council of Mortgage Lenders, where significant lobbying contributed to the mortgage industry’s regulatory landscape. Jackie Bennett holds an MBA and BSc (Hons) from The Open University.
