Kirsten Andersen Morris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software development, education, and instructional design. Currently serving as a Climatebase Fellow since March 2023, Kirsten is involved in climate career acceleration. As a Full Stack Developer and Product Owner at Firework Development since June 2021, Kirsten has contributed to the gFix web application for equipment inventory management at Gold Family Farms. Recent software engineering work includes an externship with Synthesis Workshop focused on website redesign. Kirsten's previous roles include university lecturer at the University of Utah Asia Campus, where participation in the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee occurred, and instructional designer at Texas Tech University, leading initiatives for accessibility in course content. Recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2012 while teaching secondary social studies, Kirsten holds a Master's degree in Technical Communication from Texas Tech University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies Composite Teaching from Brigham Young University.
