Mariana Palau

Mariana Palau is an experienced professional with a strong focus on climate change and environmental affairs. Currently serving as a Climatebase Fellow, Mariana is part of Cohort 6 of the Climatebase Fellowship, a climate career accelerator program. Mariana previously held the position of Senior Director at Laurel Strategies, Inc. and contributed as an analyst on the popular radio show Mañanas Blu 10:30 am, where Mariana focused on energy transition policy proposals and deforestation reduction. Prior experience includes serving as Colombia Correspondent for The Economist, Chief International Editor for W Radio, and fellow at Al Jazeera Media Network. Mariana holds advanced degrees in Public Policy from the Blavatnik School of Government, Journalism from Columbia University, and Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
