Kristina Dahl is the Vice President for Science at Climate Central, Inc., since November 2024, previously serving as Principal Climate Scientist at the Union of Concerned Scientists from 2010 to November 2024. Kristina has a diverse background in climate science, including roles as Senior Climate Scientist and Climate Science Consultant, providing research and communication on climate change impacts. Experience also includes serving as Course Scientist at the American Museum of Natural History, Associate Director of the Climate and Environmental Change Initiative at Rutgers University, and Science Communicator for Al Gore's Climate Project. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Paleoclimate from the MIT/Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution Joint Program and a BA in Earth Sciences from Boston University.
