Lily Rau

Lily engages with partners and stakeholders to develop pathways to decarbonise heavy industry. Most recently, she has been supporting the Australian Industry Energy Transitions Initiative, which aims to accelerate action towards achieving net zero emissions across critical supply chains in Australia. This includes convening, consulting, and gaining consensus across a variety of organisations.

With a decade of experience in the environmental sector, Lily has developed expertise in project management, strategic marketing and communications, and stakeholder engagement. She also has a background in environmental consulting, where she supported federal, state, and local environmental programs to drive awareness and adoption of renewable energy initiatives and energy efficient products.

Prior to joining Climateworks Centre, Lily was a Senior Marketing Manager at Lime, where she was responsible for leading campaigns that advocated for sustainable transportation in North America, Australia, and New Zealand. She is committed to creating a more sustainable and equitable future.

Lily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
