Apoorva Bajaj has held a variety of roles in the business and research sectors since 2000. Apoorva began as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2000. In 2004, they were an Industry Liaison Officer and Research Fellow at the Engineering Research Center for Collaborative Adaptive Sensing of the Atmosphere. In 2007, they were a Marketing and Licensing Intern at the Office of Commercial Ventures and Intellectual Property. In 2008, they were a New Product Development Manager at Johnson and Johnson Medical. In 2009, they were an Associate Product Director (Equivalent) at DePuy, Orthopaedics, Johnson and Johnson. From 2010 to 2021, they were an Innovation Manager at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Currently, they are a Government Business Development Executive at Climavision, where they are responsible for managing accounts across all levels of government and identifying opportunities with non-profit organizations.

Apoorva Bajaj received their Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai in 2000. Apoorva then attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they obtained their Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Microwave/ RF technology and radar systems in 2003. In 2006, they earned their MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst with a focus on Innovation and Technology Management.
