Tara Goode has a wealth of work experience. Tara began their career in 2006 as Special Projects Coordinator for the City of Enterprise. In 2010, they became the Public Information Officer for Pierce County Public Works and Utilities. In 2012, they co-founded Progressions Public Relations and Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in public and private sector strategic communications, public relations, image consultation, and writing/editing. In 2013, they became Head Of Client Services for Enterprise Electronics Corporation. In 2018, they became Sr. Global Communications Manager and Public Relations and Communications Manager for Genscape, Inc., where they were responsible for leading the communications strategy, internal and external, and guiding external communications as a communications trainer, editor, and messaging strategist. In 2020, they became Co-Founder & Strategic Partner and Principal for Fleur de Lis Communications. Most recently, in 2021, they became Vice President Strategic Partnerships for Climavision, a weather information services startup, where they are developing, overseeing, and managing strategic partnerships to facilitate better weather forecasting and information gap coverage, as well as overseeing proprietary radar network operations including siting and installation of proprietary systems. Additionally, they are the Founder of Project ACE, a non-profit with a mission to close the female leadership gap by building an ongoing pipeline of incredible professional women and partnering with organizations to fill roles with these candidates.

Tara Goode received a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing from the University of West Florida between 2003 and 2006. Tara then went on to receive a Master of Science in International Relations/Global Studies from Troy University between 2007 and 2011.
