Scott Thiel has held various engineering and leadership roles throughout their career. Scott served as the Vice President of Engineering, Research and Development at CLIMAX Portable Machining & Welding Systems from May 2017 to June 2018, and then again from June 2018 to April 2019 in the role of VP of Operations & Engineering, Research and Development. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering, Research and Development at CLIMAX from June 2015 to February 2017. Following this, they pursued higher education at the Oregon Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. During this time, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, specializing in the field of engineering.
