Urban Brunner

Urban Brunner serves as the Lead Legal Counsel - Commercial at Climeworks since September 2021. Previously, Urban held the position of Legal Advisor / Senior Legacy Counsel at Médecins Sans Frontières from November 2020 to September 2021 and was Senior Legal Counsel at Johnson & Johnson from June 2012 to February 2020, focusing on the Medical Devices commercial business in Switzerland. Urban's experience also includes roles such as Business Development Consultant for the Vital Voices 100 Pro Bono Program, Dozent at Berner Fachhochschule BFH, and Business Development Manager at SOS Children's Villages International, along with positions as Legal Counsel at Swissgrid AG and Volontariat at Civil Court Basel-Stadt and NEOVIUS Advokaten & Notare. Urban completed legal internships at Novartis and holds several degrees, including a MicroMasters in International Human Rights Law from Université catholique de Louvain and a Master in Law from the University of Basel. Additionally, Urban is a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.
