Delyla Mayers

Delyla Mayers is an experienced professional in the field of counseling and advocacy, currently serving as a Case Manager for Adolescent and Family Services at Clinica Sierra Vista since June 2018, where responsibilities include providing supportive counseling and acting as a liaison between clients and service providers. Delyla also works as a Youth Prevention Specialist for Kern Behavioral Health & Recovery Services, focusing on substance abuse prevention education for various community groups. Previous roles include serving as a Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Counselor/Advocate at the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center, a member of the National Student Advisory Council with the American Association of University Women, and leadership positions within the UCSB Women's Center and the Student Resource Building Governance Board. Delyla holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Feminist Studies from UC Santa Barbara.
