Alejandra Chaparro

Alejandra Chaparro is a distinguished academic and practicing specialist in periodontology, currently serving as a Full Professor and Researcher at the Universidad de los Andes since October 2007. In addition to academic roles, Alejandra holds the position of Director of the Master's program in Research and Innovation in Dental Sciences and leads the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Oral Pathology. Concurrently, Alejandra has been working as a Dentist and Specialist in Periodontology at Clínica Universidad de los Andes since January 2015. Alejandra's educational background includes a degree in Dentistry and Oral Health from Universidad de Chile and a Master's degree in Dental Sciences with a focus on Periodontology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
