Emily Gomez

Emily Gomez has six years of professional experience in the medical field. Emily began their career in 2007 as an Independent Research Assistant at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. In 2010, they took on two roles at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, as a Medical Technologist and a Laboratory Volunteer. In 2014, they became a Technical Specialist I at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2015, they were hired as a Medical Technologist at Abington - Jefferson Health. Most recently, in 2019, they were hired as a Senior Project Manager at Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).

Emily Gomez has a Master of Science (MS) in Medical Laboratory Science from Thomas Jefferson University, which they obtained in 2010. Emily also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Microbiology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, which they obtained in 2009. In addition, they hold two certifications from the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP): Technologist in Molecular Biology (MB) obtained in October 2015, and Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) obtained in October 2010.
